change user require Deadline restart

Hi, we just found out that login as a new user in the monitor requires a monitor restart for the change to take effect.

Thanks

Hi Sylvain,

I think the Monitor just needs a full refresh (Refresh All) before the

change will take effect, although I may be mistaken. This issue has

already resolved in our working copy of Deadline 3.0.

Cheers,

Hi,

We just finished a production and installed Deadline 2.7.29178.

The monitor is freezing when we change of user from the dropdown list. It’s on each computer and we re-installed a client manualy to see if the auto update was for something and it’s not solving anything.

Any idea?

That’s strange… I don’t recall hearing of this problem before. Is

there anything in the monitor logs (in c:\deadline\logs) that might

explain anything?

Cheers,

Hmm, I can’t seem to reproduce this here. Maybe try closing the monitor,

moving c:\Deadline\monitorOptions.xml somewhere else, and then

restarting the monitor. This resets all the monitor UI customizations.

Cheers,

Mmmm… Strange… I thinks it’s a network problem. I was out for a meeting, tested it on another computer and worked well and on the other stations too. A little long to change the user but working.
