What am i doing wrong?

please...

Hi Bruno,

I’ve only ever seen this error with 3dsmax 9 on a Vista machine when I

was doing some testing. Then I installed the latest 3dsmax 9 patch and

it worked fine after that. I’m not sure if this applies to your

situation though.

From the sounds of it, you had some initial success testing 3dsmax with

Deadline. Is this correct? If it was working previously, I can’t think

of what could have happened to prevent it from working all of a sudden.

Also, do you get this error on all of your slaves, or is it one in

particular?

Cheers,

Hi, thanks for the reply,

This error happens in all slaves…

I’m running win64 with 3dsmax9 32 bits with the latest service pack…

Deadline works with 3dsmax 2008?

Thanks

Hi Bruno,

I’m running XP64 on my workstation, and I’ve never had this problem with

3dsmax 9 (32 bit or 64 bit). I do know that XP64 and Vista seem to share

some security features though. Have you tried applying the latest 3dsmax

9 patch to see if that helps? Deadline does support 2008. You can find

the patch for this here:
