Support for Autodesk Revit?

Are there any plans to add Autodesk Revit rendering to Deadline in the future?

Last we checked, Revit doesn’t have a way for a 3rd party application like Deadline to control the rendering process (ie: command line rendering). Until it does, it isn’t possible for Deadline to support it.

Good to know. Thanks for the info, Ryan. Hopefully Autodesk will build in this kind of functionality as in 3ds Max. Revit’s rendering power has increased drastically with the last few versions, and it’d be a shame to limit it to local rendering.

Cheers,

Eric

Actually Russel, you do!! ;0)
We use Vray for Revit to export a Vray scene file, to the network, you can then use Deadlines Vray Submission to render the vray scene file. You will need Vray standalone on your nodes to do the rendering.
