HI everybody,

I am desperately looking for some help.I am having a problem with instaling Mentalray Standalone 3.6.1 for maya.

Following are all the information I can give:

1- I am using Windows Vista Pro.
2- I have Maya Unlimited 2008 installed.
3- I have Mental ray standalone 3.6.1 for Maya 2008
4- When I want to install ray server I get the following Error
“Rayserver error <1092> ray failed to start.”

What is this error mean???

Can anyone help me please?.Thanks again in advanced.

From the information you’ve provided, this doesn’t seem to be a Deadline issue. I think it would be best to contact the Maya/Mental Ray support teams about this.
