Nuke 4.8v1

Hey,

What do I need to do to make Deadline 2.7.29178 work with the newest (4.8v1) release of Nuke?

Thanks!

Hi Jason,

Have you tried modifying the Nuke plugin configuration in the Monitor to

point to the new version of the nuke render executable? If not, start

with that. Then try submitting the job from within Nuke or from the

Monitor and see if you have any luck rendering. If you get any error

messages, please post them and we can proceed from there.

Cheers,

Hey Ryan,

I’m getting this error when trying to process it…

Cheers,

Nuke is printing out this message before it exits:

Write2: o:/Renders/Ministries/Children/Elevate/Spy_Chase/testNuke.mov:

Couldn’t create output movie storage -50

I’m not entirely sure what this means. Could be there isn’t enough

memory to create the movie, or perhaps the render node doesn’t have the

necessary permissions to write the movie to path above.

One thing you could try is to render the same file with Nuke from a

command line prompt on the render node, using the same command line

arguments that Deadline is using (which the slave prints out when it is

rendering). If you still have the same error, at least we can rule

Deadline out as being the cause of the problem.
