one slave rendering two brazil frames

Stupid question: how do I get deadline to render two frames/tasks simultaneously on one slave?

I am testing some dual-proc dual-core render nodes and want to compare times for one frame with four threads vs. two frames with two threads each, etc.  I thought there was a way to set the slave to start 2 tasks at a time, but can't remember.

Hi Mike,

Some plugins support concurrent tasks, which can be set by right-clicking on a job in the Monitor and selecting Modify Properties. If a plugin doesn’t support this, the concurrent task options will be greyed out.

Plugins that don’t support concurrent tasks are 3dsmax5…8, DFusion/Fusion5, and Combusion3. The way Deadline communicates with these applications doesn’t allow for more than one instance of them running concurrently.

Cheers,

Ryan Russell
