DENSITY: Density by Camera Distance

I just played around with the zdepth magmaflow tutorial and decided to make this KCM, which makes the particle density dependant on the camera distance. I think this is useful when working with force additive mode sometimes, as the closer you get the less bright the particles appear, so I wanted to create something that would balance this out and create a higher particle density when the camera gets closer. It works, but is very sensitive to the distance of the camera, attached is the scene as well for Max 2010. You can easily change the node for any object to affect the density as well. Maybe someone has an idea to make the range and density work a bit more natural in a scene so it doesnt cut off so abruptly.
