1.4.10.36995 Crashes Creating PRT Volume

Every time I create a PRT Volume object, Max crashes, regardless if I’m creating in the viewport, from the listener, or loading the autosaved file that crashed, and no matter if I have Krakatoa set as the renderer or not.

This is using Max2008, x64, Core2Quad, 8GB RAM

Also, I think the installer doesn’t install for both 2008 win32 and x64 if both are present.

Hah, that’s definitely an issue. I have never actually made a PRT Volume using the Creation Panel, so I never noticed this bug. I’m going to fix it right away, but I do suggest you use the excellent macroscripts Bobo has provided by putting them into a toolbar. It makes Krakatoa a lot easier to use, since the GUI and all the primitives are at your fingertips. franticfilms.com/software/su … cripts.php

Thanks, creating the volume with the macroscript doesn’t work either though.

It seems to work if you select a geometry object first, then press the PRTVolume button.

Yes that works nicely. Fixed in RC2, so the day is saved double
