I can’t get the deadline client installed. there is an error

The library hostfxr.dll was found, but loading it from path failed
Have you tried installing the .NET core prerequisites? You can get those at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/core/install/dependencies?pivots=os-windows&tabs=netcore31
Try installing that and re-attempting this install and let us know how it goes!

looks like installing the windows update patch did the trick
