Why is that when I have the property Ignore Missing External Files = True set for a particular job, it still won’t render if there is a missing texture in the scene file! It still throws an error and won’t render.
Why? Is this a bug?

Can you send us the error report you’re getting for this job? When this option is enabled, I think 3dsmax still logs missing external files as errors in the Max.log file. However, something else might be causing the render to fail, and because Deadline grabs the Max.log file whenever a job fails to render, it may imply that the missing texture is to blame for the failure when really it’s something else.
Cheers,
As soon as the current jobs finish, I’ll try to reproduce the error again and send you the logs as I cleared all logs before rendering the current batch.
