hi there!
the problem is with startin the on some of slave machines. trouble loading lightning.dlx.
i have read other topics about it, and tryed to resolve my problem by the ways i have found there. but still it does not work.
i have 3 render nodes and 1 server machine. i have started slave on all of them and this what happening: one render node and server machine start to render just fine. other to slaves are going down with the error. i have tryed to dig into it with Dependency Walker, to see what is the differens beetwen machines and i have noticed that the slaves that do not render have the following error in Dependency walker:
“Error: The Side-by-Side configuration information for “c:\documents and settings\administrator\local settings\application data\frantic films\deadline\temp\lightning\LIGHTNING.DLX” contains errors. This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem (14001).”
