Oh my…
Autodesk removed a whole bunch of Quicksilver properties from Max 2012.
Pretty much all of them were exposed in the Deadline Submitter.
The fastest way to work around this issue is to go to the Options tab of the Submitter and uncheck “3ds Max Quicksilver” so it does not attempt to access these properties. If that does not help, please let us know.
Thanks for reporting this, we will fix it in an upcoming point update.
Someone else reported this yesterday too. I sent them the attached script, which they’ve confirmed fixes the problem.
First, go to \your\repository\submission\3dsmax and make a backup of SubmitMaxToDeadline_Functions.ms. Then unzip the attached file to the same folder. The next time you launch the Deadline submitter from within Max, you should be able to submit the job. If you get the same error, try restarting Max to see if that helps.
As Bobo mentioned, this will be properly fixed in the upcoming 5.1 update.
Cheers,
