.47 installer

Seems like the linux installer is not shutting down existing running instances properly (of pulse anyway). Previously this used to work. It would shut down existing 7 commands, install, then restart the service.

This is right after an install, you can see the launcher restarted, but not pulse:

root 18617 53.7 42.8 18293540 14090220 ? Dl Nov13 6245:29 ./mono --runtime=v4.0 /opt/Thinkbox/Deadline7/bin/deadlinepulse.exe -nogui
root 29021 1.4 0.1 721580 41440 pts/0 Sl 11:22 0:04 ./mono --runtime=v4.0 /opt/Thinkbox/Deadline7/bin/deadlinelauncher.exe -nogui

After a while pulse simply crashed due to the .dlls/.sos changing. We have a cronjob that restarts pulse every couple minutes, so maybe this is always how it worked, we just never noticed?

None of the client installers shut down any running instances. It’s probably because of the cron job that you never noticed this before.

Cheers,
Ryan
