Using latest beta…
With Monitor already open. I copy an existing Slave scripts directory, containing the usual *.py script, icon file, etc.
I rename the directory and its associated files as the new script name.
I go to monitor and hit “Reload Icons for scripts and plugins”.
I was kind of expecting the newly created script to appear in the monitor.
Closing the monitor and re-opening it and its there first time.
As designed?

Hey Mike,
It’s a bug. The slave context menu wasn’t being generated dynamically, so even though the new script was loaded into memory, the context menu would never get regenerated to show it.
This will be fixed in the next beta.

Sometimes it actually worked for me, which of course was causing me to double-take myself!
