Executing stop slave form the monitor stops the slave process correctly, but opens and leaves an empty UI window titled “New Panel”.
I don’t know if this panel is supposed to display success information or if its just a wrapper to execute the command…
Thanks for reporting this. The problem is probably that your current user doesn’t have permissions to spawn the Remote Commands panel, and that’s why an empty one pops up. In RC2, we will check the permissions and simply not display the panel if the user doesn’t have permissions.
You can tweak the panel permissions from the Monitor by selecting Tools -> Manage User Groups. Under the UI Features tab, just enable the Remote Commands panel.
