Since I got the OK to make the swith today, I’ve got a few more questions about transfering from 6.0 to 6.1 beta. How do I maintain my monitor settings from 6.0 to 6.1? Like groups and pool settings, I have descriptions entered in for all my slaves. I am using the Extra Info attributes as well. Is there a file that stores this info that I can copy into the new repository? Or will I have to redo all of my customization?
Because 6.1 is a minor upgrade, you DO NOT need to install a fresh repository and database. When you run the 6.1 repository installer, just point it to your existing 6.0 repository folder. All of your settings will be maintained.

Excellent thank you. It worked with just a few bumps. Most of my changes remained. I had to be extra sure because my boss was hesitant to allow me to upgrade.
