Would it be possible to use a regex in the quickfilter menu? Some artists were asking.
For example: (0002).(laszlo).(image)
(our previous system supported it)
For now i pointed them to the filters menu, but i suspect they might miss this feature still

Turns out it’s a simple tweak to allow the Search fields to accept regular expressions. Would that, combined with the current quick filter system, be sufficient?

Yeah would be perfect! The artists so far are loving the multiple filter options, its kinda like xmas for them. Regex would be the star on the top of the xmas tree.

I would maybe suggest glob-style pattern matching instead of regular expressions…
