Access to the path is denied on Deadline startup

Hi there,
I’m a fairly beginner user of Deadline. Today I wanted to update all my programs (3DS Max 2026 and all the plugins around it), and had to upgrade my Deadline install for that matter. Everything was working fine with 10.1.0.10, I only have two machines on a local server and full access to the repository. After an attempt at update, I’m getting an error message whenever I try to start Worker or Launcher. It spells :
“Access to the path ‘C:\ProgramData\Thinkbox\Deadlne10\workers\PCNAME\jobsdata’ is denied.
Deadline Worker will now exit.
XX second(s) before this message closes.”
I’ve tested different install methods, including uninstalling before a clean install, local or remote, it didn’t work. The weirdest part for me is that the folder mentioned can’t be accessed by the PC, even by the admin user ! That means I can’t even override it apparently. I have no idea what is going on, and I hope someone more capable than me has run into a similar issue.

OK, somehow I was able to solve the issue by resetting the permissions on the folder and subfolders. They didn’t have a single value entered in the groups and users, i had to type them semi manually (Windows has an option to verify names so that helps). The security section in Window is kind of an endless tunnel but now I got it. Since this was all a problem in ProgramData on both machines, I’ll assume it’s a problem on the side of Deadline and not the repository or anything else.
