Access to the path XXXX is denied

Hi,
It’s second time we are experiencing this Access error. It happens once per job. No clue what is triggering that.

In first case the path was
/opt/Thinkbox/Deadline10/bin/bin/halt/Thinkbox/Deadline10
and
second time
/opt/Thinkbox/Deadline10/bin/n/nologin/Thinkbox/Deadline10/cache/xxxxxxxx (xxxxx is hashed folder name)
what seems to be random paths.

Deadline 10.3.0.13

there’s an option to allow access to files on the installer, if you didn’t do this you might have to chmod /opt/Thinkbox
I often do that, and
/var/log/Thinkbox
and
/var/lib/Thinkbox

This is a weird one though, is it the connection server having issues? not sure if this error is on the server or worker?

I suppose all paths come from workers. And I don’t think /opt/Thinkbox/Deadline10/bin/bin/ folder exists anywhere tho.

what’s your env? could the $PATH env be mushed together?

halt on my box is /usr/sbin/halt

what does echo $PATH show

not sure if Deadline sandbox adds something but outside of Deadline it’s /usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/sbin

you are right that both halt and nologin are system commands, but I’m not sure why they should be called during render
