I don’t get the add or remove pool script.
How is it different from modifying the pool list from the monitor?

It’s useful if you have a bunch of slaves that have different pool
configurations, and you want to simply assign all of them a particular
pool without worrying about overwriting every slave’s custom pool
configuration.
Say you have 3 slaves with assigned pools as follows:
Slave1: 3dmax, dfusion, aeffects
Slave2: testing, RnD
Slave3: dfusion, testing, 3dsmax
If you want to add the pool “maya” to each slave, and you go through the
normal way of assigning pools, the slave’s custom pool configurations
will be overwritten. Using the pool script simply adds the maya pool to
each slave’s pool list.
