Adding revision number to all source code files

Would be great if all source code files delivered with deadline would contain the revision/version number of the release.
Since we are frequently updating deadline there is no easy way to determine the version from the source files and when comparing two source files its great to understand which version each one is from.
Not sure what version control system you are using but some support automatically changing the revision number at the top of the file for all source code files.

Hey Patrick,

We currently have this on the wishlist, but it’s not currently on the roadmap. We haven’t looked into it yet, but we’ve just recently switched to using Git as our version control system. So if you’re familiar with it and know if it’s possible to do what you’re suggesting with it, we’re all ears!
