Advice needed on how to best configure a workstation based renderfarm

So we have a renderuser that auto boots up, but during the daytime artists use the workstations too…

I would want deadline to best just run under that 1 user ever, and never under another user… Is that possible ? As we also have powermanagement enabled, deadline will shutdown the machines if they idle, another approach could also be to tell deadline to just not shut the machine down while someone else is working on the same machine… but how ?

Any input would be very welcome.

Thanks

I don’t think there is power scheduling shutdown like there is worker scheduling

but then do you want the renders running if a user is logged in and working?

You may want to use the ‘overrides’ in the Power Management
