- It looks like task progress isn’t up to snuff anymore:
STDOUT is now:
0: STDOUT: PROGRESS: 0:00:03:01 (74): 8 Seconds
The plugin could be updated to regex (####) for task progress.
- The submission script gives a warning when an output folder doesn’t exist. This makes the “Sub folder” path system not work since you specify a root folder, a “Sub folder” in the output path of image sequences and then an output name.
Also output paths don’t seem to map. It picks up the folder it’s outputting to, but not the filename. This makes submitting Draft jobs impossible.

You mean it’s not working any more? I checked our progress handling code in 6.2 RC3 and it looks like it should be matching this. We had updated our AE progress handling in 6.2 RC2 because of an issue with AE CC, so maybe that’s the issue you are seeing? Which version of 6.2 are you currently running?

We’re not familiar with the “sub folder” path system. Is this something new in CC? We can definitely log an issue for v7 to better support this system. Can you provide more details about how it works?
Can you provide more details here as well? Are you saying it maps the output folder but not the filename? I’m afraid I don’t quite follow…
Thanks!
Ryan
- Not working, I just get 0% and then complete for a single task.
- Newish. I don’t remember seeing it before. It works like a normal output path e.g.
Filename: Filename.[####].png
but there is also a second field
Subfolder: “v01”
I assume it creates the subfolder at render time.
- Correct. This is the output file path:
W:~~\Shots\WALL~~\Renders\COMP\A01.03
But no Viewoutput option.
- Is the task for a single frame or multiple frames. It might only work for multiple frames. Can you maybe post a log?
2/3) Thanks for the information. I’ve logged a bug against v7 so that we look into this.
