We just started using AE Creative Cloud (v12) I tried to just change the render exec path in “Configure Plugins”. But it doesn’t seem to work. Any chance of an update to the AE plugin?

I managed to modify some of the pluginfiles so it now handles CC as well.

P.S. Does the beta 6.1 already include CC?
6.1 Beta should have AE CC support in there. I haven’t personally tested it, but the settings for it are all present.

As our beta licenses have the tendency to run out two days prior to project-deadlines, i would prefer if we could get CC working with 6.0.
Could you maybe supply a patch/update to get this working?

You should just be able to copy the plugin & submission scripts from the 6.1 repo to the 6.0 one, the changes weren’t anything crazy, and should be compatible with 6.0.
Stuff you’d want to copy over:
plugins/AfterEffects/
submission/AfterEffects/
scripts/Submission/AfterEffectsSubmission.py
I’d probably back up the old stuff beforehand, just in case
