ok so johnny found out, the prt loader works with animated path deform,
but the particles do not show up in viewport! they disappear, fly away
at render time however, it works and they are where theyre supposed to be
would be cool to see them in viewport of course, just like prt volume
I haven’t been able to reproduce the issues you are seeing.
Here’s a preview of a PRT Loader (box) and PRT Volume (teapot) path deformed along an animated spline. Perhaps you should post a scene that exhibits your problem behaviour.

Hey Darcy here is a simple test scene, the pflow is off and needs to be cached.
Oddly enough this one won’t even display in the VP when it is not selected BUT it still does render.

Same here. Used the scene from JohnnyRandom. Nothing in the viewports. Rendering ok. VP mode: dx
EDIT: After changing the viewport ie. Top->Left->Persp. sometimes the particles appear and sometimes they stay even they are not selected (teapot is)
