Animation keys for Magma modifiers won't show up in the curve editor

Hi, I posted a while back about this issue I was having with Krakatoa in Maya an now I’m having a similar issue with Krakatoa for 3DS Max.

I have a Magma modifier on a PRT loader object and I am animating a float value that is used to multiply the value of the density channel.

There are definitely animation keys for what I did and I can see the keys in the dope sheet viewer but my keys will not show up in the curve editor. I need them to show up in the curve editor so I can apply ease curves to the animation. The Magma_Den shows up in the curves list under Modified Object but the keys and curves won’t display. I’ve tried all the menu options to make sure all keys are visible in the curve editor but they still won’t show up.

Is this a bug?

For some reason, the Magma tracks are being filtered out as “Global Tracks”. I think this is a bug, but not sure what caused it. We will look into it.

If you open Track View, press Q to open the Filters dialog, and check “Global Tracks” on the left side, do the controllers and keys appear for you?

Thanks Bobo! That did the trick, now I can see the animation curves!

I just checked in Max 2013, and there the Global Tracks are on by default, so we never noticed the problem.
When Autodesk modified the default Filters of Track View, it became a visible problem, but I think you were the first to report it…

We are looking into fixing this.

Oh sorry I forgot to mention that I’m using 3DS Max 2016.

Thanks again for the help!
