Hey there,
I’ve got an AP9340 Environmental manager and i’ve turned SNMP but for some reason i’m getting the following error from deadling power management when i try to add it:
Could not query sensor because:
SNMP: Response is not of type Integer (System.Exception)
i’m assuming this is to do with the OID
do you know what it should be for APC modules?
Thanks
Chris
Hey Chris,
The OIDs for the AP9340 are the following:
Temp1: 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.10.4.2.3.1.5.0.1
Temp2: 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.10.4.2.3.1.5.0.2
Humidity: 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.10.4.2.3.1.6.0.1
and Uptime (in minutes): .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0
Hope that helps!
-Cody
hey,
i’m getting a 0 Celcius reading for all the OID’s you sent but when you log into the web interface of the APC it’s 20 degrees etc
Not sure why that is… We use the same monitor in one of our offices and the OIDs work fine. To make sure you’re using the right OID try using this app: wtcs.org/snmp4tpc/getif.htm
Just enter the monitor’s host name or ip into the host name field and click on the MBrowser tab. Find the the device in the tree and use the OID that is displayed in the text box. If it’s different, try using that and hopefully that should work.

Hey Chris,
We recently found a bug in our code where 0 would be read in as the temperature because we were making improper assumptions about the response from the sensors. We’ve addressed this problem internally and the fix will be rolled out with the upcoming 3.1 SP1 release.
Cheers,
Any idea when this would be or if there an patch you could sent me directly if it’s one xml file for example?
We are hoping to get this next release out mid-June.
Cheers,
