Arnold not found on cloud spot fleet machine

Hello!

I’m trying to make cloud rendering work.
I start the spot fleet with Arnold+Maya Linux machines. However when they pick up the Arnold rendering job with vanilla Deadline 10 Arnold plugin, they give me the following error.

Error: FailRenderException : Arnold render (Release) executable could not be found in the semicolon separated list “/opt/solidangle/mtoa/2022/bin/kick;/opt/solidangle/mtoa/2021/bin/kick;/opt/solidangle/mtoa/2020/bin/kick;/opt/solidangle/mtoa/2019/bin/kick;/opt/solidangle/mtoa/2018/bin/kick;/opt/solidangle/mtoa/2017/bin/kick”. The path to the render executable can be configured from the Plugin Configuration in the Deadline Monitor.

I have no idea how the executable is not found on these machines. Please help!

Hi,

In the DL monitor → Configure Plugins → Arnold
in the “Arnold Kick Executable” field, add: /usr/autodesk/arnold/maya2022/bin/kick

I think that is the generic path on the DL base worker maya + arnold image.

I need to check where the executable is on the AMI and then update our plugin settings. Did you try using the path @jarak asked.
