Been trying to add a new pool to a set of our rendernodes (~2k), and its been hanging on commit for about 15 minutes now. What’s a reasonable expectation, how long should this operation take?

Actually, it was not the commit stage, just the ‘assign’ phase in the GUI. Clicking OK in the dialog was fast.
At the end it took around 2 hours :\
‘Promoting’ pools has the same performance. Tried to move a pool up front on ~1500 slaves, and have been waiting for 10+ mins now (haven’t pressed ok yet, just pressed promote)
Thanks for reporting this! This is definitely something we need to look at improving. We’ll see if this is something we can address in 7.2, or if the performance changes we’re making in Deadline 8 will address this.
