As mentioned in the title of this post, recently my AWS fleet will start rendering without any issues, and just before a task is completed, the fleet will have an error, and all the instances error out and automatically shut down.
please help!
also, I cannot get any other licenses to work on the aws nodes other than v-ray. Any ideas why?
I have UBL setup and my local nodes have no issues checking out both local network licenses and UBL licenses.
Are you able to share some logs of these errors? Or if this is urgent (like I bet it is!) I’d give us a call at +1-866-419-0283 once our phones open up at 9am CST.
If it’s not urgent and you’re not willing to make your logs public, you can create a ticket at support.thinkboxsoftware.com.
Sure I’d love to share the logs. but there are alot, and I’m not sure which logs would contain the right information pertaining to the aws fleet error state. Could you point me in the right direction (folder)?
Thank you for your prompt response!
Right! I got caught up looking up our phone number and missed the important bits.
Assuming you’re using AWS Portal the log locations are in:
AWSPortalLink:
Windows: %PROGRAMDATA%\Thinkbox\AWSPortalLink\
Linux:/var/log/Thinkbox/AWSPortalLink/
AWSAssetServer:
Windows: %PROGRAMDATA%\Thinkbox\AWSPortalAssetServer\
Linux: /var/log/Thinkbox/AWSPortalAssetServer/
