bad central file record

Hey there,

just tried to install the deadline repository 5.1 on sbs2003 and get “bad central file record”

any thoughts?

Hi Chris,

I googled that error, and one potential cause could be antivirus software. If you have any AV software running on the machine, try disabling it and run the installer again. If that works, you should be able to enable it again afterwards.

If that doesn’t work, you could try creating a share on the server (if you haven’t done so already), and then run the installer from another machine and choose the server share as the installation path.
