Hello!

What version of Deadline are you running on the Client and the Repository side? Looks like PDG Job is failing on “bad node type found” error is coming from Hython itself. We would like to isolate the submission from Deadline and recreate this error outside in Hython.

You would need to find the “Task Executable” and “Task Arguments” from the render logs. Run them on the terminal. Here is a documentation to troubleshoot render issue: Troubleshooting — Deadline 10.3.0.13 documentation

Hello,

I am running Deadline version 10.3.0.10 on both.

It does work in the terminal

Doesn’t this mean that redshift for houdini is not installed on the render worker?

@Kaustubh How did you run it on the terminal? Could you be able to share the command and the logs from the terminal?

Also you would need to run the PDG job command on the render node which failed the job. Did you try reaching out to Sidefx to see if they know issue off-hand?

Hello,

I fixed this issue by creating a symlink /opt/hfs19.5.682 and everything works perfect!
