This is a repost from the old Advisory Board:
Thinkbox Software is proud to announce Bermuda!
Bermuda is an interactive ocean and wave modeling package for 3ds Max. Bermuda has a clean modular workflow and is highly customizable. Ocean modeling in Bermuda begins by providing a view-adaptive ocean mesh which spans to the horizon and preseves fine detail near the camera. On top of that, Bermuda applies a powerful normal map which fills in the finer wave details not captured by the mesh.
Currently normal maps are fully supported in Scanline, Vray, Final Render and Brazil. Support for mental is expected to be completely in the early stages of the beta. Documentation is included as separate .chm file which we will be expanding soon. If you have any questions or run into any problems email us at support@thinkboxsoftware.com. Also stay tuned for shading tutorials which we will be releasing in the coming weeks.
The build and the documentation are available from the Advisory Board Download Page.
For licensing email sales@thinkboxsoftware.com with your hostname and mac address and we will get your beta license.
Please post your feedback here, or you can email us at support@thinkboxsoftware.com. As always, we want your feedback!
