BETA 13 c4d-plugin error

Deadline Version: 6.0.0.50509
FranticX Version: 2.0.0.50509
mac osx 10.6.8
c4d R14

hi there,

i still have problems getting c4d running with some plugins.

deadline error log: (no frames rendered)

i tried rendering this via terminal using same command: (konsole errors, BUT all frames rendered)

this seems to me that deadline stops rendering when getting errors from plugins. even if the rendering would work. is there a way to override this?

wolfram

In the Cinema4D.py file in \your\repository\plugins\Cinema4D, you can comment out this line:

This should do the trick. If this works, let us know, and we’ll probably remove that line going forward since we already have a bunch of more specific error handlers for the C4D plugin.

this works

thanks!
maybe you could integrate a checkbox “ignore render-errors” or something similar in the submit-dialog.

Thanks for confirming. We’ll just remove it for now. If it turns out that this results in errors being missed in the future, we can add the checkbox option to ignore them.

had some slave-crashes as well the last few ours:

We just released beta 14 today, which makes some significant changes to the slave. If you still see this problem after upgrading to beta 14, let us know and post the crash report.

Thanks!

hey Ryan,

updated to beta 14, unfortunately the slave still craches. here is the log file: zwonull.com/download/mono_20 … ull-02.zip

wolfram

slaves seem to crash often when the monitor is also running.
just launcher + slave running seems to be quite stable.

I can’t download the log you linked to. I get a 404 Not Found error.

Thanks,

  • Ryan
