Hi all, I just installed D6 for the first time (beta 6) and I love how snappy it feels compared to D5.2 but when can we expect to see the rest of the Submit Scripts?
I can’t really use this at all without at least Vray Standalone.

When it comes to the scripts/plugins, we try to add a few for each beta release if time permits. Lately, we’ve been pushing to finalize the feature set (user group permissions, statistics, etc), so unfortunately the scripts/plugins have fallen behind.
That being said, if a beta tester like yourself is waiting on a script/plugin, that pushes up its priority! So we’ll see if we can squeeze VRay stanalone into beta 7, which we hope to release this week.

Awesome, thanks. I’m really impressed with 6 so far. Nice paired down interface that puts the emphasis on the jobs/users/nodes. Well done.
If you’re taking plugin requests, I could use Arnold even more than Vray at the moment!
I would also love to request Mental ray standalone script please!
Makes it hard for me to test as well without standalone as that is what we render with on all our render nodes.

This might make a good general poll but a high priority script for us would also be Vrimg conversion.
