(Beta17) sorting still doesn't work in Date-columns

Sorting jobs or tasks by Date for all the different Date-columns still doesn’t work.
I just updated from Beta12 to Beta17 and in the change-log for Beta15 was something about “fixed sorting issues” so i thought that was it, but obviously that must have been some other issue.

Just to confirm, did you upgrade your Deadline clients as well? You can double check the version in the Monitor by selecting Help -> About. Just want to make sure you’re not still running an older version.

If it is the right version, can you post a screen shot of this bug? We had fixed something related to sorting by date, but it must be a different issue than the one you’re seeing.

Also, can you right-click on a job where task sorting is broken and export it, and post the exported job here? We can try importing it on our end to see if we can reproduce it that way. Note that when you export, you can choose to not delete the job from the farm. Also, you can only export non-active jobs, so it will have to be a suspended or completed job.

Thanks!

yep, the “about” window says Deadline Version: 6.0.0.50841.

And here is the Screenshot:

As you can see i tried to sort the jobs by “Submit Date/Time” but it allways shows the same order of the jobs.

What exactly do you mean be Exporting a job? I cannot find an option for export in the Jobs right klick menu.

Thanks for the screen shot! This is so weird. I’ve just tried sorting here and it’s working fine…

Sorry, when I said export, I meant archive, but don’t worry about sending us one. I don’t think it will help here.

Instead, can you save your Monitor layout from the View menu, and then upload the file here? We’ll try using the same layout to see if we can reproduce.

Sure, here it is.

Thanks! I tested it here and I’m still having no luck reproducing this…

If I can think of anything else to try, I’ll let you know.

Cheers,

ok, date-sorting works now properly with rc1.

Thanks!
