Hi,
Can’t remember if it was different before beta 7 and hence this is a regression, but when you save a job report by RC, it doesn’t pre-complete its name based on the Job Name, Task, etc - it’s just blank and you have to type a filename in. Also, it creates a file with no known file extension, but does contain simple txt content. Selecting multiple reports is the same as well.
Could this be improved? Also, when you archive a job, what happens to the job reports? Shouldn’t they be included in the archive.zip file? Sure would be useful for when you’re sending this into support for debug AND if you re-import the job into another repo, the job reports would stay with the job.
Hmm, can’t reproduce it on Linux or OSX either. Anything showing up in the Console window? Maybe try reinstalling the client to see if that makes a difference?
beta 6 & 7 are the first 2 beta’s where I have only installed the repo and let the auto-upgrade do it’s thing on the OSX client. (repo is also on the same OSX machine).
I followed your advice and re-installed over the top of the auto-upgraded beta 6 OSX client the beta 7 OSX client installer and yep, now it works! The save field filename is pre-completed for you, just like the Windows version. WTF?
