beta8 - differences in monitor console - Win vs. OSX

Hi,
When I upgraded to beta8, I’ve seen 2 differences in console:

  1. On OSX only, the console in monitor states this but ONLY when started via the launcher (start monitor directly and it doesn’t print the 2 x Python lines):

2013-10-22 17:42:10: Deadline Monitor 6.1 [v6.1.0.53328 R] 2013-10-22 17:42:10: The current PYTHONHOME environment variable will be modified to avoid potential Python conflicts 2013-10-22 17:42:10: The current PYTHONPATH environment variable will be modified to avoid potential Python conflicts 2013-10-22 17:42:11: Main Window shown

  1. On Windows, the console shows this but not on OSX, the first time after booting up monitor after upgrading:

2013-10-22 17:32:50: Deadline Monitor 6.1 [v6.1.0.53328 R] 2013-10-22 17:32:50: Bootstrapping MagmaFLUX file: C:\Program Files\Thinkbox\Deadline6\bin\MagmaFLUX_32.dll 2013-10-22 17:32:50: - deleting old file 2013-10-22 17:32:50: Bootstrapping MagmaFLUX file: C:\Program Files\Thinkbox\Deadline6\bin\MagmaFLUX_64.dll 2013-10-22 17:32:50: - updating original file: C:\Program Files\Thinkbox\Deadline6\bin\MagmaFLUX.dll 2013-10-22 17:32:50: - deleting old file 2013-10-22 17:32:50: Bootstrapping MagmaFLUX file: C:\Program Files\Thinkbox\Deadline6\bin\lib\site-packages\MagmaFLUX_32.pyd 2013-10-22 17:32:50: - deleting old file 2013-10-22 17:32:50: Bootstrapping MagmaFLUX file: C:\Program Files\Thinkbox\Deadline6\bin\lib\site-packages\MagmaFLUX_64.pyd 2013-10-22 17:32:50: - updating original file: C:\Program Files\Thinkbox\Deadline6\bin\lib\site-packages\MagmaFLUX.pyd 2013-10-22 17:32:50: - deleting old file 2013-10-22 17:32:50: Main Window shown

  1. This will be fixed in beta 9. Turns out we weren’t setting the environment properly during auto-upgrades. If you were to restart your launcher now and run the Monitor through it again, you shouldn’t see these messages.

  2. This is normal. The bootstrapping process is only required for Windows.

Cheers,
