Last build here, 45212, is from 9/1? If the release if coming in a couple weeks, should we be seeing some more builds?

We used to get monthly’s almost always on a Friday 
Sometimes even two builds a month, I guess there are no more bugs, or we don’t find anymore 
I don’t mind builds every 6-8 weeks, but it’s just odd when we’re talking about releasing in 2 weeks. Not much time there.

Where did you here 2 weeks until release? I didn’t know there was an actual announce.
There should be a build before the end of the week.
The last 3 weeks were very Krakatoa SR centric, including a week of demos in California for anyone who did not come to Siggraph.
I spent most of the time writing KSR stuff, while fixing KMX stuff in between. This explains the delay somewhat.
We had a long list of things to fix in KMX and a large part of them was addressed.
We won’t release it officially before we hear from you that it is stable, but we hope to have an RC by the end of the month.
I was getting worried you got stuck in Mel-Land and weren’t coming back!

As you might have noticed, a new build was posted over the weekend.
We have added a new PRT Cloner object, but don’t get too attached to its workflow, because we are working on a PRTCloner MODIFIER which will be much more intuitive, will work correctly in object space and will allow the easy stacking of clones using multiple modifiers on one distribution object.
We will post a new build as soon as we have it working satisfactory.
I expect that it will be working flawlessly when I get back from vacation on the 1st
