All of a sudden we’re getting these weird errors when rendering with C4D R 15. See attachment.

Is this a scene that rendered fine before upgrading to beta 12, or is this a new scene? It looks like Deadline is just the messenger here, so maybe it’s just a coincidence that this started happening after upgrading to beta 12.
The first thing to do is to try rendering from the command line on a slave that reported this error to see if the error happens outside of Deadline. Open a Terminal and run this command:
"/Applications/MAXON/CINEMA 4D R15/CINEMA 4D.app/Contents/MacOS/CINEMA 4D" -nogui -render "/Volumes/PITLANE/13085-Kongsberg200/3D/Scenes/globus-variant.c4d" -frame 27 29 -oresolution 1920 1080 -oimage "/Volumes/PITLANE/13085-Kongsberg200/Elements/3d-render/globus/globus"If you get the same errors, then at least we can rule out Deadline. If it renders fine, send us the output and we’ll go from there.

I’ll try tomorrow, but this error occurs on all slaves when rendering through Deadline.

Ok. Seems like this is a Cinema thing. I get the same error when running the renderargument in the slaves cmd-line

Turns out this was a plugin issue. This was caused by x-particles but they’ve already sent out a fix so if you have the same problem, just DL the latest version.
