C4D Failed to Submit render

Hi Guys,

We’re getting this error with C4D R18 and the render never submits.

Getting Deadline home folder
Getting maximum priority
Loading pools
Loading groups
Writing sticky settings
Creating C4D submit info file
Traceback (most recent call last):
File “S://DeadlineRepository8/submission/Cinema4D/Main\SubmitC4DToDeadline.py”, line 1967, in Command
if not self.SubmitJob():
File “S://DeadlineRepository8/submission/Cinema4D/Main\SubmitC4DToDeadline.py”, line 1494, in SubmitJob
innerPasses = getPostEffectPasses()
NameError: global name ‘getPostEffectPasses’ is not defined

Hey Andrew,

Sorry about the inconvenience. We’re aware of the issue now and a fix will be in the next service pack. However, that’s not really helpful for you right now, so here’s the fix!

To apply the fix:

• create a backup of “[DeadlineRepository]/submission/Cinema4D/Main/SubmitC4DToDeadline.py”
• Unzip the attached file into that same location
• If C4D was open, reload it and voila!
