In trying to install the deadline client on amazon linux 2 (NICE DCV), I run into an error
[root@ip-10-1-138-212 Deadline-10.1.9.2-linux-installers]# sudo ./DeadlineClient-10.1.9.2-linux-x64-installer.run --mode unattended \
> --launcherdaemon true \
> --debuglevel 2 \
> --prefix /opt/Thinkbox/Deadline10 \
> --connectiontype Remote \
> --noguimode true \
> --licensemode UsageBased \
> --daemonuser "$deadlineuser_name" \
> --httpport 8080 \
> --tlsport 4433 \
> --enabletls true \
> --slavestartup 1
There has been an error.
Unknown error while running uname -r
I have run yum install lsb
per the docs: Client Installation (Advanced) — Deadline 10.1.14.5 documentation
And uname -r has no problem either:
[root@ip-10-1-138-212 Deadline-10.1.9.2-linux-installers]# uname -r
4.14.225-169.362.amzn2.x86_64
I tried installing the latest version of deadline, but it made no difference.
