Can't connect to Windows repository from OSX

Trying to connect to PC Repository via OSX

I’ve got a fresh install of the Deadline 6.2.0.32 repository on a Windows 7 SP1 box. I can successfully connect to the repository via a PC render slave as well as a PC workstation running the monitor.

However, I cannot get an OSX 10.8.5 Mac to connect to the database. The following error message appears when entering the repository address:

The OSX machine can successfully mount the share via Finder. No authentication is required (guest access enabled). This is what the dbConnect.xml file contains:

We’re not sure why this would happen, so you might be better off going through support here. I think they’ve dealt with a problem like this before, and can set up a remote session with you to try and solve it if necessary.
