a job is fail (stucked at 99 % rendering for 7h…) but the “restart slave” command doesn’t works saying "
“…Remote admin as been disabled…” but it is enabled in the rep options.
Am I missing something ?

Sine enabling remote admin in the repo options, has the slave’s launcher/slave been restarted?
Is launcher still running on the remote slave?

Hello Mike,
No the slave did nothing, deadline slave kept on running on the slave machine.
I had to manually close deadline slave’s windows and restart it.
Yes launcher is running on the slave (at least its icon appears in the notification zone).

Please can you enable slave verbose logging (repo options > application logging) and then make sure both slave and launcher have been restarted on this machine in question.
Please can you double-check that the firewall and no other block is preventing the remote command to be sent or received. Here’s some notes on things to consider:

If it’s still not working, please can you post the remote machine’s launcher & slave logs and it should display a message regarding remote restart. If it doesn’t, then there is something blocking the communication. Does this only happen to 1 machine?

I enabled “slave verbose logging”.
I authorised the software that wer’nt authorised in firewall.
I’ll see if it happen again…
