We are currently running 10.3.2.1 on an old machine.
We now have a new machine up and running and wanted to get the latest version migrated over and setup a new mongodb with it etc. a fresh install.
Everytime I try to install I get this error;
An error occurred while configuring the database:
Could not connect to any of the specified Mongo DB servers defined in the “Hostname” parameter of the “settings\connection.ini” file in the root of the Repository.
The following errors were encountered:
- 192.168.1.4: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. 192.168.1.4:27100
As far as I am aware the ports are open. I tried running the installer on the OLD deadline machine as well, to upgrade it from 10.3.2.1 and connect to the existing Mongo DB but I get the same error, just the hostname changes to match the old machine.
We upgraded to Max 2026 so we need to update for 2026 support but I cant seem to get it to install at all.
Any ideas why this is popping up?
