One of the frustrating things I run across from time to time is when I’m monitoring a slave log as it’s running. As it updates, it will automatically send the view to the bottom of the page. But I want to focus on one line further up the timeline. Is there a way to keep the window from focusing itself on the very last line as it updates?
You can right-click on the log window and select Suspend Log (ctrl+s). It will prevent the log from being updated until you right-click and select Resume (ctrl+r).
You can also select a line to keep it focused on that line and not auto-scroll.
