Cinema 4D R16 Commandline Render

I am trying to render a scene with Deadline. Rendering on a slave via commad line without deadline with the render -nogui option works fine.
But as soon as I submit the scene in Deadline the render starts on the slave and crashes.
I am using the Maxon License server with commandline render licenses. Any idea?

Slave output:

got it working! Had to restart the machine otherwise the vc redist … from Microsoft will not work …

Ahh, thanks for the info! Good to know this in case it comes up again.

Julius, thanks for posting this! Just saved me a lot of (extra) stress…
