Hello All,
Curious if anyone else has run into this. In C4D you have your project settings frame rate for the timeline, and render settings frame rate for render. Usually you always want these to be the same, but sometimes you can break them for specific render situations, an example being my current situation, where I have a lot of caches setup under 30 FPS that I can’t change… if I change my project settings frame rate everything is off, but if I let C4D handle it via render settings frame rate, things are still good when I go down to 24 FPS.
So, normally if you do break them and you have your project settings set to 30 FPS, and your render settings set to 24 FPS, Cinema & it’s clients know you want to render at 24 FPS and correctly accounts for that frame range change. (ie - 0-450 becomes 0-360)
It seems Deadline doesn’t account for this feature, would that be correct? If I submit, it sticks to the 30 FPS frame range and tries to render different frames than the task says it’s supposed to render… 0-4 = 0-3, 5-9 = 4-7, etc.
Thoughts would be greatly appreciated, I’d hate to have to setup team render clients quick knowing how often they crash in R16.
Thanks!
