Cinema 4D & XParticles fails on commandline

I’m seeing this issue at a couple of different sites.

One site has centralised plugin folder for C4D so they’re all running the same version Arnold & XP.

The other site has locally installed versions of Redshift & XP.

When running through Deadline on commandline renders some don’t pick up the XP, launching locally it all works fine, but through Deadline it’ll report plugins not found.

Not sure why, it’s the same machines having the issue, they all have identical hardware etc.

Have tried clearing folders, pref folders etc. Re-installing the app, running the plugins locally, updating Windows etc.

Anyone else having this issue? It has coincided with the latest XP release ‘Insydium’

Is this with the first ‘Fusion’ release? We haven’t switched over to that yet (still on 895) so I’m glad I heard about this beforehand…

yes, was 1030 and now 1034, am still testing with this, i find it really odd it only affects a couple of machines though, am scratching my head with this one

I’ve run the trial on a rendernode, licensed XP and that works, removed the license and restarted and it’s still working

odd how this issue only occurred on 2/30 render nodes and similar numbers of workstations.
