Hello,
I have factorize standard python code inside libraries in which I use ‘print’ for messages.
When I call this code inside ‘Deadline’ submission scripts, ‘print’ works well until I call ‘ClientUtils.ExecuteCommand’.
After this call all ‘print’ won’t do anything.
Is there a way to fix that?
I would not like use ‘ClientUtil.LogText’ everywhere or write a kind of log adapter object.
Thanks
Forgot to precise, this is under ‘Deadline 6’ (It works under ‘Deadline 5’ actually)
Hello Nico,
Ok, so we can verify this is happening, and that it is a bug. We have logged it and will try to see why it’s happening and how to fix it asap. Thanks for pointing it out to us!
FYI. This has now been fixed in our internal version and will ship with v6.1
Thank you Mike.
I have looked for the date of the 6.1 release.
I didn’t find any announcement.
Can you tell me when this patch will be released ?
Thank you again.
If all goes according to plan, hopefully Jan 2014.
